Breakfast Room and Guest Lounge
On the ground floor, the cosy woodbeamed former living quarters of the farmhouse serve as breakfast room and as a lounge for our guests. You start the day in this room with our extensive, freshly cooked breakfast. And after a great day in the High Fens, you can take a rest here with a glass of wine or one of our Belgian specialty beers from our well stocked bar and read the book you've been meaning to read for a long time. Or you can exchange experiences with the other guests and share tips about beautiful walks and excursions and good places to eat. We have a selection of games for your use, like backgammon, chess, cards and a shuffleboard. On colder nights, the woodstove can be lit for you.
B&B La Petite Roer has a large garden, with a sitting area close to the small lake, where wild ducks can be spotted regularly, as can some other water birds. Especially in spring and summer, the water's edges are abundant with a colourful variety of wild flowers.
You can sit in the sunshine or the shadow with a fresh coffee or tea or with a drink from our well stocked bar and enjoy the quiet. After a well spent day in the beautiful countryside of the High Fens, it’s time to relax and start thinking about next day's activities.
La Petite Roer has wifi for free use by our guests.
